Positive Thinking isn't about ignoring life's problems. Instead, it's about approaching life's challenges with a more optimistic and hopeful outlook.

[00:01:06] It's the difference between seeing a sub-accus of defining failure or, as a stepping stone to growth. Research and positive psychology shows that individuals who adapt and optimistic minds that are not only happier but also more resilience in the face of adversity.

[00:01:26] They tend to see challenges as temporary and believing their ability to overcome them. Positive Thinking is a mindset that focuses on finding the good in every situation. It's about shifting our perspective and choosing to see the silver lining, even when things seem bleak.

[00:01:47] Now you may be wondering, how can a sampling thinking positively make a difference in my life? Well, let's dive into it in the talk about it. Studies have shown that our brains are wired to respond more strongly to negative thoughts and emotions.

[00:02:06] This is because our premise of brain is constantly on the lookout for potential threats and negative thoughts triggers a stress response. But on the other hand, positive thoughts activate the reward sensor in our brain releasing feel good hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

[00:02:25] This not only boost our mood but also increases our resilience and how we respond to stress and adversity. Now, that doesn't mean that positive thinking can magically make all of our problems disappear. Life will always grow curveballs in this natural-to-experience negative emotions during tough times.

[00:02:47] However, what makes a difference is how we respond to these challenges. Instead of dwelling on the negative and feeling defeated, positive thinking helps us focus on either accepting our circumstances or finding solutions and moving forward. There are many ways to incorporate positive thinking into your daily life.

[00:03:11] Some people, they like to start with positive affirmations. While other people, they practice gratitude by writing down things they are thankful for. You can also surround yourself with positive people and engage in activities that bring you joy and happiness.

[00:03:28] By cultivating a positive mindset, you are building your resilience muscles and equipping yourself to handle whatever life throws at you. It's important to highlight how positive thinking all small forms are physical health.

[00:03:46] Studies have linked a positive outlook to better our health, stronger immune function and a low risk of early death. It's fascinating to see how our mental state and have such profound effects on our physical wellbeing. The mind body connection is a powerful force. Resilience.

[00:04:08] Here is your action item. To start incorporating positive thinking into your life, it begins with mindfulness and self-awareness. I did an episode of mindfulness and the episode of self-awareness. Oh, at the links. Then you need to focus on recognizing negative thought patterns.

[00:04:25] This is the first step to what changing the negative thought patterns. Transforming our thought patterns can seem daunting, but with practice, it becomes second nature. One effective strategy is the practice of gratitude.

[00:04:41] By focus on what we are thankful for, we naturally shift our perspective to a more positive one. After my childhood of a beautiful neglect and abandonment, it was easy for me to spiral into despair and feel sorry for myself and I did it for years.

[00:05:00] But my God would begin to change when I started going to therapy and keep it a gratitude journal. I wrote down even the smallest things I was grateful for. Every day, and over time I found this trend to not only survive but to thrive.

[00:05:17] Another practical tool is the use of affirmations. Positive affirmations can reinforce our beliefs in our abilities, also cost up efficacy. And worth acting as a buffer against the negative noise. Keep in mind that building and positive minds that doesn't happen at isolation. It's also about community.

[00:05:38] The community we create and surround ourselves with matters. Engaging with the support of network that uplifts and encourages positive thinking can amplify our individual efforts. So, Resilionites, let's recap. The power positive thinking is not just a theory. It's a practice.
